Please Note:

The Organization America Cares-For the Families of Our Fallen Soldiers is obtaining the names and addresses of our fallen soldier's families through public means. The first order of Gifts of Comfort Boxes has been placed for the soldiers families in New Hampshire. Delivery is expected to take place in November 2007.

Update Regarding 501 (c) (3) status:

Form 1023, Application for Recognition of Exemption under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code with Schedule G was completed and submitted on October 3, 2007. An Expedite Reguest with support documentation from the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce was included.

New Hampshire Families - 2007 

Families of our New Hampshire Fallen Soldiers were the recipients of out first shipment and received their Gifts of Comfort Boxes during the week of Thanksgiving 2007. 

New Hampshire Families - 2008 

We continue to send out the Gifts of Comfort Boxes as we learn of new  Families of our New Hampshire Fallen Soldiers during the year. 

Update Regarding 501 (c) (3) status:

Our application for tax exempt status has been reviewed by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and it has been determined that we are exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are deductable under section 170 of the Code. We are also qualified to receive tax deductable bequests, devices, transfers, or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. We are further classified and will be treated as a public charity. 

                Our Effective Date of Exemption: May 29, 2007.
